Job purpose
The position of Project Coordinator (BMG)- Bal Mitra Gram is designed to lead project deliverables and manage activities implemented by District Coordinators, Assistant Project Officers, Community Social Workers, support them in developing and implementing plans as per the requirements of a project and ensure reporting of your work as appropriate.
Job Description (Role Expectations)
As Project Coordinator for child friendly villages, you are primarily responsible for ensuring monitoring, reporting and process documentation of the project

Planning and Organizing - Ability to identify what needs to be done, to develop an appropriate plan of action in order to accomplish an objective and to monitor progress against it and be able to provide right strategic direction to the team

Leading and Developing Others – Ability to lead, encourage, inspire and support others to develop confidence and capability to help them realise their full potential.

Education, Experience and Exposure
Education
Advance degree in relevant discipline from institute/university of repute preferably covering social work as a topic of study
Experience & Exposure
Minimum 10 years’ experience in child welfare, and/or Community development with at least 8 years in people management role
Professional experience of managing programs at local/regional levels
Experience of working in the geographies of South Bihar and Jharkhand
Managerial Experience of handling multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
Professional experience of working in NGO’s, CSO’s, Foundations or business CSRs.
Demonstrated ability to liaise, network and support advocacy efforts with government and alike stakeholders
Local candidates will be preferred
Required skills : Proficient in MS office (MS word, excel and PPT), report writing, drafting emails, and good command over telephonic correspondences. Good command on English and Hindi.
Desirable skills: Acquaintance to local language.
